Before you begin
Issues are visible to Happl and assigned brokers, not the client view. A document comment asks a question but does not itself create a blocking issue.
Steps
1. Open the affected policy and confirm that you are looking at the correct current report.
2. Select Report an issue beside the report actions.
3. In Details, state what is wrong, where it appears and what you need Happl to clarify. Include the document name and relevant worksheet, row or page where useful.
4. Include the impact on processing and any relevant deadline. Keep personal information to the minimum needed to identify the problem.
5. Select Save. Confirm that the issue appears under Open issues · Broker & Happl only and the status is With Happl.
6. Review Happl’s response and the policy activity. Once Happl resolves the issue, check the current report again before completing outstanding work.
Troubleshooting
No issue button: Confirm you are in Broker view and that the policy has a current changes report. Use the support chat at the bottom right if the problem concerns access or there is no report.
Need to add evidence or clarification: Add a relevant document comment and select Private to broker & Happl where needed. Refer to the existing issue rather than creating duplicates.
Unable to save: Copy your explanation to a secure local note, refresh, and check whether the issue was recorded before retrying.
Urgent deadline: Also contact your usual Happl representative. Recording an issue does not provide a guaranteed response time.
If the issue is not resolved
If the issue is not recorded or you cannot continue, email [email protected] with the policy, report period, issue summary and deadline. Keep report completion unconfirmed until all changes have actually been actioned.
