Mark a report as completed

Confirm completion only after every change in the current report has been actioned with the insurer. Your full name and confirmation form part of the policy record.

Before you begin

Viewing a report, adding a comment or uploading a return does not complete it. Only the current report can be completed, and an open issue must first be resolved by Happl.

Steps

1. Open the policy and check the company, policy reference and reporting period.

2. Read the current report and action its changes with the insurer. Resolve any uncertainty before confirming completion.

3. If you cannot action the report, select Report an issue instead. Explain the blocker and what clarification you need.

4. When the status is Needs action and all changes are actioned, select Mark as completed.

5. In Confirm report completion, add any relevant notes, enter Your full name and tick the statement confirming all report changes have been actioned with the insurer.

6. Select Sign & confirm completion. Check that the policy status becomes Complete and that the action appears in Policy activity.

Troubleshooting

Completion button disabled: Check whether the status is With Happl, Complete or No report. Wait for Happl to resolve an open issue.

Current report has changed: Reload the policy and review the newly published report before signing. Do not confirm a report you have not checked.

Saving failed: Refresh and check the status and activity before trying again, to avoid assuming the action failed.

Completed in error: Contact Happl promptly. There is no broker self-service undo control; explain exactly what remains outstanding.

If the issue is not resolved

Contact [email protected] with the policy reference, reporting period, error or incorrect completion, and the action you need Happl to review. Do not sign merely to remove an item from the action list.
