View and download policy documents

Open a document in the portal to review it without downloading it. The viewer also provides comments and document-specific Happl AI context. Opening the viewer is recorded in policy activity.

Before you begin

Only published documents within your policy access are available. A file marked Recalled should not be used as the current instruction or report.

Steps

1. Open the relevant policy and locate Documents, or select Documents in the sidebar.

2. Check the filename, date and document status, then select View document.

3. For a PDF, use the previous and next page arrows and zoom controls. For a spreadsheet, choose a worksheet and use the row navigation controls.

4. To keep an authorised local copy, select Download in the viewer or beside the document. Handle it under your organisation’s information-security procedures.

5. Close the viewer when finished. Review the policy’s report status separately; viewing or downloading a file does not mark it complete.

Troubleshooting

Spreadsheet appears incomplete: The preview can be limited to 10,000 rows and 100 columns. Download the full file when that limit is shown.

Viewer will not open: Check your connection and refresh once. If downloading is available, use it for an authorised file; never bypass a recall or security hold.

Recalled or missing document: Ask Happl which replacement to use. Do not act on an older local copy without confirmation.

Content or figures look wrong: Check the worksheet and reporting period. Use a document comment for a question. Brokers should use Report an issue if the current report cannot be actioned; client users should contact their broker or Happl.

If the issue is not resolved

Contact [email protected] with the company, policy, filename and error text. State whether the problem affects viewing, downloading or both. Do not attach a full membership file to an ordinary support email.
