Before you begin
Use an authenticator approved by your organisation. The portal offers Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password and Another authenticator app. Email and SMS codes are not offered as alternative sign-in factors.
Steps
1. Sign in with your email and password. On the setup screen, choose your authenticator app.
2. Add Happl to the app using the guidance below and the QR code shown in the portal. Keep the setup page open.
3. If scanning is unavailable, select Can’t scan? Use a setup key. Enter the key in your app and choose a time-based code.
4. Select Continue to verification, enter the current six-digit Happl code, then select Verify & sign in. Scanning the QR code alone does not finish setup.
App guidance and troubleshooting
Authy: Choose the option to add an account, scan the QR code and save the account as Happl.
Google Authenticator: Select +, then Scan a QR code, and scan the portal code.
Microsoft Authenticator: Select Add account, then Other account, and scan the QR code.
1Password: Unlock the browser extension and save your Happl login. It may offer to save a verification code near the top-right of the browser. If no prompt appears, open the extension, select the Happl login, open its three-dot menu and choose Scan QR Code.
Another app: Add an account by QR code or setup key. It must support six-digit time-based codes.
Code rejected: Wait for the next code and check the device’s automatic date and time settings. Keep your QR code and setup key private.
If the issue is not resolved
If setup still fails, contact [email protected] with the app name and error text. Never send a QR code, setup key or verification code.
