For security reasons, Payroll Reports are not sent by email. Instead, Happl sends a notification when the report is ready to download from the platform.
Who can access Payroll Reports?
To view and download Payroll Reports, you need to be a Happl administrator.
Anyone who needs access to the report should have the correct admin permissions before the report is due.
How to find the Payroll Report
Log in to Happl.
Go to Finance in the left-hand navigation bar.
Select Reports.
Find Payroll Report in the top-left of the page.
Click View report.
Setting your payroll cut-off date
The first time you open the Payroll Report page, you’ll need to set a payroll cut-off date.
To do this:
Click Manage cut-off date in the top-right corner.
Choose the date you want Happl to use as your payroll cut-off date.
Add the email addresses of anyone who should be notified when the report is ready.
Your report will be available the day after the cut-off date you select.
Choosing the right cut-off date
It’s important to choose your cut-off date carefully, as it can be difficult to change later and may affect future reporting.
We recommend:
Checking the date with your payroll team before setting it.
Choosing a date a few days before you actually need the report.
Leaving enough time to review the report, make adjustments, or raise any queries.
Managing report notifications
When you set your cut-off date, you can also choose who receives notifications when the Payroll Report is available.
You can update notification recipients after the cut-off date has been set.
Notifications are sent by email, but the report itself is not attached. Users will need to log in to Happl to access and download it.
What happens after the cut-off date is set?
Once your cut-off date has been selected, Happl will generate Payroll Reports using the data available in the platform.
You’ll also be able to see when the next report is ready to download.
