Stripe is Happl’s banking provider and card-issuing partner, and UK regulations require them to verify your business before cards can be issued. To offer virtual and physical cards to your employees through Happl, you’ll need to complete a Know Your Customer (KYC) process with Stripe. This article walks you through where to start, what information you’ll need, and what to expect during the process.
Why this is required
UK financial regulations require card issuers to verify:
The identity of the business
The people who own, manage, or control the business
The bank account used for funding cards
This verification is handled directly by Stripe, but you’ll initiate it from within Happl.
How to start the Stripe KYC process
Log in to Happl
Go to Settings
Select Company
Open Country card accounts

You’ll then be redirected to Stripe to complete the KYC process.
