To get started, head to app.happl.com and tap create an account and sign up with either your work email address, Google or Microsoft.

Complete your onboarding details

We’ve simplified the onboarding process to only require the core fundamentals to get you going. These are:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company Size

  • Location

  • Company Name (We pull this from Companies House)

You’re in.

Once you’ve completed your core onboarding, you’ll be welcomed into your Happl dashboard. Here, you have some further onboarding steps that you can do at your own pace. These are all required to get the full experience out of Happl.

1. Complete Set Up

Here, we will take you to an external portal powered by Stripe. This must be completed by a shareholder or director of the company. We require the Stripe onboarding for KYC purposes as Happl handles allowances, and issues bank cards.

As a part of this process, we need to understand the owner of the business. If you are not a director or shareholder, you can invite one to complete this process.

2. Invite people

To invite employees onto the platform, you can do this in two ways:

  • Connect your HRIS

  • Manually invite them through email

To get started, tap invite on the onboarding step or alternatively head to people & groups → people and select your method: either ‘Connect HRIS’ or ‘Invite People’.

Connecting through HRIS

We have partnered with MergeDev to enable you to connect to your HRIS of choosing. Here, select your platform and follow the steps for a seamless integration.

If you connect, profiles will be automatically completed with roles, images, names and addresses all pulling through.

Inviting by email

To invite by email, simply enter the work email of all employees and separate them with commas. We will send an invite to each to notify them that they now have access.

Sometimes we can’t help it and emails might go to junk or spam. So it’s worth getting everyone to check this. Alternatively, employees from this point will just be able to sign in.
